The only requirement is that you make a simple web page describing you, and your family, in relation to the name Bastemeyer. I'll give you a template. The reason why is simple: to collect at one place all those stories about the family, whether historical or present. As most of us know, all Bastemeyer date back from a very small village in Germany, near Hannover, called Diepenau/Lavelsloh. There still exists a 'Bastemeyer Haus', a farm with 'our' name. Isn't that something? At present there are limited numbers of Bast(e)me(i)(y)(ij)er's living in Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Australia, Canada and the USA. Even one in Nicaragua. |
